To ensure an always clean and crystal-clear water, we recommend to purchase as spare parts for the cat and dog fountain Vega the suitable active carbon filters. The filter kit includes two double stage filters with a particular structure with external sponge, a central part with hyperactive carbon granules and a final stage with active carbon sponge. The filters of the pet fountain Vega should be replaced once a month.

My cat drinks way more since I started changing these every couple weeks, and the water stays clear instead of getting that cloudy look. Two filters in the kit means I've always got a spare on hand.

Swapping in a fresh pair of these keeps the fountain water clear instead of that cloudy film that builds up after a week or two. The two-stage carbon layer seems to catch the fine hair my cat sheds, and having a spare on hand means I'm not scrambling when it's time to change it.

I noticed a real difference in water clarity after switching to these double-stage filters—the charcoal layer really catches tiny particles. They fit perfectly in my Vega fountain and seem to last a full month without getting slimy.
