The back opening makes cleaning so much easier than other houses I've tried. My little guy loves sleeping inside and the sturdy plastic has held up well to his chewing.

My hamster took to this immediately, and I think the opening in the back is why — he likes having a second way out instead of feeling cornered. It wipes clean in seconds since it's all one solid piece of plastic, no seams for bedding to get stuck in.

The plastic feels way sturdier than the flimsy house that came with my cage, and my hamster took to it the first night. The entrance is wide enough that he doesn't struggle getting in, which was my main worry.
