The 1.5 litre capacity means I'm not refilling it every single morning like my old one. All-plastic build is a bonus too, since it won't rust sitting out in the coop. My hens took to it right away.
The 1.5 litre size is spot on for my small flock, I only need to top it up every couple of days. The plastic is smooth so rinsing out the grime takes a minute, no scrubbing needed.
Filling this up takes way less time than the old jar I was using, and the all-plastic body means I can just rinse it out instead of scrubbing. Only gripe is the lid doesn't snap on as tightly as I'd like, but it hasn't leaked yet.
