This feeder suitable for battery chicks and hens is made of robust plastic.
Feeder Battery is available in 2 sizes: Small and Large, suitable respectively for chicks and hens, with a capacity of 1 and 2,9 litres.
Bought the large size for my six hens and it holds plenty of feed without needing constant refills. The plastic wipes clean easily, which matters when you're dealing with crumble and dust every week.
The plastic on this one feels way sturdier than the flimsy feeder I had before, and the large size means I'm not refilling it every single morning for my hens. The chicks took to the small one right away too.
The large size holds plenty for my four hens, and the sturdy plastic has held up well against their pecking. Easy to fill and clean too.
