HEN PEN EXTENSION

We have a few foxes around, so I wanted the hens to have more room without feeling exposed, and this extension does exactly that. The treated wood has already survived a few good soakings without swelling or warping.

My hens finally have enough room to roam safely. The solid wood frame feels sturdy and the outdoor treatment gives me peace of mind even after rain.

Sturdy solid wood and it's held up fine through two rainy weeks outside. Only gripe is that the pre-drilled holes didn't line up perfectly with my existing pen panels, so I had to re-drill a couple. Still, my birds have way more space now.
